Bosun Higgs English Country Dance Band line-up comprises five excellent musicians bringing together fiddle, melodeon, banjo, bass saxophone, and percussion for a traditional sound with oomph, swing and lift. All the band members have a goodly number of dances at top notch festival and ceilidh series under their belts, with well-respected groups including Old Swan Band, Token Women, Random, Grand Union, and Pigeon Swing. The band’s driving passion is being great to dance to, with an emphasis on dance-ability, fun, and great tunes.

Bob Morgan will be calling- Bob calls in a calm clear manner, (he’s even been described as “suave” to his great surprise) matching his calling to the audience in front of him. As well as ceilidh Bob calls for contra and Playford at a whole range of levels from chaotic LARP balls and PTAs to festivals like Chippenham, Sidmouth and Whitby.

This ceilidh will be at St Mary’s Hall. Advance ticket sales close 24 hours before the event. Full price tickets may be available on the door.
